BACKGROUND

life saving automatic defbrillators

The AED DRONE is public drones service that delivering
life-saving automatic external defibrillators in cases
of sudden cardiac arrest.

 

The service is designated for open and highly crowded urban areas, which are usually difficult to reach for conventional emergency services like ambulances or emergency motorcycles

 

The AED DRONE has a customized smartphone app for ordering the service, and can also be activated by a simple phone call. in addition to the fast and accurate delivery of the defibrillator, the AED DRONE service also ensures the arrival of professional medical assistance to the area of need and provides live data collection

THE PROBLEM

Usage time The drone will arrive at the event location in 5.2 minutes and will remain there until arrival of the rescue forces, estimated time about 12 minutes

During the formal research of the drone, I tested ways and shapes for the design of the drone and the defibrillator. It was important for me to emphasize accessibility and precision in the design since the user is under pressure and needs to work quickly.

AED APP MARKET RESEARCH

Seeing the big picture

To begin to understand the big picture and the problem, I examined the main players in the market and parallel markets: Mada's Applicia, an SOS application, and various drone applications such as photography and delivery. I read the reviews of the gospels and understood the pain points that need to be emphasized.

I came up with the
following conclusions

To enable quick action in case of a heart attack where every second counts, a large and clear button in a strong red color leads the user to act directly.

To allow the user to understand how much time the drone arrives with the defibrillator to manage the feeds which are very important in the event of a heart attack

In the case of a heart attack, it is very important to provide quick initial treatment with a defibrillator, therefore the button is large and clear, and when pressed straight away, it calls the defibrillator.

The watch app is intended to be used by the target audience who wears a smart watch. In the application, the operations are very clear and easy to operate. The application is designed to allow the drones and the emergency teams to receive necessary information to provide appropriate treatment quickly.
